15th of July marks ‘‘Democracy and National Unity Day’’ in Türkiye.

On this date, Turkish Nation, proved its commitment to democracy and demonstrated its unity and solidarity against coup plotters.

Today, we underline our dedication to democracy and to our national unity. And we pay tribute to those who bravely resisted the coup attempt and lost their lives.

In this context, may I kindly invite you, for one minute of silence.

This year we have decided to mark our Democracy and National Unity Day, with a friendship match between the two friendly Turkish and Zambian teams.
