Press Release Regarding the Trilateral Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Poland, Romania

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Romania, within the framework of the tripartite consultation mechanism existing among Turkey and its abovementioned Allies, will pay a visit to Turkey on 25 August, 2016 to demonstrate their solidarity following the July 15, 2016 failed coup attempt perpetrated by FETÖ/PDY targeting the constitutional order of Turkey.

During the Trilateral Meeting of Ministers, which will be hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Ministers will exchange views on the July 15 coup attempt and FETÖ/PDY threat and discuss regional developments, the outcomes of the NATO Warsaw Summit and Turkey-EU relations.

On the sidelines of the Trilateral Meeting, Foreign Minister H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is expected to have a tête-à-tête meeting with his Polish and Romanian counterparts, as well as a meeting among delegations in trilateral format. The three Ministers will also be received by President H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
